Over the weekend, my oldest son, a friend of his and I participated in a big event sponsored by the Salvation Army at various cities around the United States. Our goal – to pack a million meals over a couple of days to send to those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti a few weeks back. It felt so good to be able to help those in need. We are so blessed with all we have – what a privilege to help in even small ways. The energy in the convention center was high, and the spirit of giving alive and well. Kudos to the Salvation Army and the wonderful work they do around the world.
